We were delighted to deliver a community workshop in collaboration with Community Connections Lewisham, supporting local community groups, grassroots organisations, and charities in Lewisham to build successful partnerships.
Drawing on High Trees’ experience of leading and developing partnerships over the past nine years, we created a Practical Guide to Collaborative Working. This comprehensive resource was shaped by our own learning and the experiences of 20 other organisations involved in partnership working. The workshop provided a fantastic opportunity to share some of our knowledge, supporting groups in Lewisham who are looking to start or strengthen their own partnership work.
During the session, we explored key elements of the Collaboration Toolkit, which includes 29 adaptable tools and templates designed to help groups collaborate effectively. Participants engaged in practical tasks and discussions around creating a shared vision, identifying the benefits of partnership working and setting clear mutual expectation.
Over 30 individuals from a variety of Lewisham based voluntary and community organisations attended the workshop, making it a great success! Feedback from participants was very positive, with 100% rating the session good or excellent.
“I enjoyed the networking and meeting other local organisations. I also really liked the toolkit, I will be sharing my learning with others”.
