High Trees are delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding by UK Research and Innovation to explore the potential for creating a Community Research Network in Lambeth.
Lambeth Community Research Network will aim to enable local communities to set local research priorities, test new approaches to research and research ethics to inform both local and national approaches and build the capacity and skills of local people and organisations to lead research and engage with research findings. Our vision is to strengthen community voice and influence through inclusive, informed, and relevant research and work to balance the power between communities, research institutions & decision makers.
Over the next six months, High Trees will be speaking to local organisations in Lambeth to develop a detailed proposal of how the network would operate in its first three years – if you’re interested in our work in this area please get in touch!
