Our children and young people summer programme recently wrapped up, leaving us with some great memories! Over four action-packed weeks, we welcomed over 100 children and young people, who took part in a variety of fun trips and activities.
With plenty of sunshine, water fights and slip n’ slides were a hit, and we had a fantastic time swimming at Joss Bay beach. There was also a lot going on at the playground over the summer, standout activities included tie-dying t-shirts, clay painting, relay races, a sports day, cup pong, a cupcake competition, and rounding it all off with our carnival celebration.
We’re proud to share that 100% of young people who attended our summer sessions felt they could explore their interests and try new things. Plus, 82% made new friends and felt more positive after attending sessions at the playground.
